Ang Van Temple is located along road 356, residential group 1, Cat Ba town, in the past, the temple was just a house with thatched roofs, experiencing many historical changes. Over time, the temple was built by people with merit and virtue as it is today.
The temple has architecture in harmony with nature, on the right there is a large stream flowing from the mountain, on the left side there are two freshwater wells symbolizing the dragon's eye (long nhan), the inner well and the outer well look like a mountain overlooking the Cai Gia bay.
In the past, people and fishing boats often went to the temple to pray for fresh water. The temple currently has an architecture in the type of Nhi, with the front house worshiping the community, the five venerations of the grandfather, the harem worshiping the Mother, on both sides of the Mother there are Aunt and Uncle.
Mother Ang Van Temple, also known as Mother Cat Ba Temple, is a cultural and spiritual address that is often visited by local people, especially fishermen and tourists from all over the world, to pray for favorable weather, peaceful weather, a bountiful harvest of fish and shrimp, peace and happiness in health.

Linh Quang Pagoda is located behind Ang Van Temple, which was inaugurated in early 2018 and was funded by the Venerable Thich Tuc Khang, calling on Buddhists everywhere to contribute. The architecture of the pagoda has 5 compartments, the front hall, the back palace and the Tam Bao palace.Construction materials are mainly wood, bricks, cement, fired tiles….
Linh Quang's name has a deep meaning, spirit is sacred, light is light, the light of the temple is shining brightly for all people. Linh Quang Pagoda is a cultural and spiritual place that attracts many Buddhists inside and outside the district to worship the Buddha, study the Dharma, cultivate the mind, practice a moral life, sublimate the spiritual life, and ignite the spiritual source.
