"Cai" is a word that refers to a type of beach in the afternoon, when the tide is low (low water) fishermen often come to collect seafood such as: cockles, snails, mai, sang, ha... The old Cai Beo area was a large area, rich and diverse aquatic resources, and at the same time, it is a safe place for boats and arrays to hide in rough seas and high winds. Boats of fishermen from all over the world flock to catch and collect seafood in this area more and more. “Flowing water, floating duckweed” is a natural phenomenon, where rivers in the Northern Delta often have Beo (a very common aquatic species) following the flows of rivers into the sea.
